Old Gen vs New Gen - What people forget to mention

I have a PS3 and a X360. In comparison to PS3 the X360 interface is incredibly fast and well organized. The download times are also much faster. I decided to use my 360 for internal or external apps like MS Video, Watchever or Arte+7 until MS pulls the trigger.

DS -> 3DS: An actual analog stick slider, improved social features, usable multitasking, 3D, remotely usable browser, multitasking?

Wii -> Wii U: GamePad, a good eShop, a quick OS and browser, improved social features?

I have all 4 systems you mentioned and Nintendo is the only company where I don't care about their (still pretty clumsy imo) interfaces. They don't market their systems as media hubs after all. Yes, there are improvements but I buy Nintendo systems despite their interfaces.🙈 If I would care about their interfaces I'd have to complain about them like the OP about his PS3.
