I never thought the day would come when I'd say this but: CoD is MORE balanced for PvP than Destiny. Destiny is an uncategorized trainwreck of samey-classes and Golden Pistols. One shot kills do not make a competitive game. One shot kills with aim-assist that stretches for miles on either side of your character do not make a competitive game. The multiplayer PvP is crippled and its longevity is limited because of many bad design choices.

At least Halo had the decency of not letting you load in with power weapons (fuck Halo 4, and thankfully they are doing away with all this stupid stuff come Halo 5). It amazes me that the same developing studio made this stupid critical mistake of giving everyone momentum ruining insta-kill moves. When you go on a killing spree, you want to die to a bad play on your part or when the whole other team ganks you, not because some ass-hat broke out his instagib bullet and shot in your general direction.

The slam and warlock ball are at least avoidable by jumping or strafing, the Golden Gun is downright broken.


I'm going to disagree with this. The insta kill can only be used at the most 2 times per game (I'm a warlock) so unless you have a bunch of idiots sitting in one spot you are not going to get much out of this. Also COD has this with choppers and jets and all kinds of mines and stuff. I own higher levels in this game but at the same time, I get owned by lower levels. It has ALOT to do with skill and not just "perks" you are talking about. Sure some weapons are not fully balanced but it's no where near as broken as you are talking about. The shot guns are the only thing that's over powered but they can only be used at close quarters. So you can't just run into the enemy like an idiot. The same thing goes for insta kills abilities. At the very most the abilities act as an "o shit button" at times to get one last kill before you die. I'm sorry but it just sounds to me that you are pissed because you got rekt too many times.
