Nomura stepping down is a good thing IMO. He's likely had enough input on the game; they just need to finish it up already. Now he can focus on KH3 and get that out faster than if he would've continued working on both FF XV (and not necessarily for the better either) and KH3.

I don't know what you mean with that it seems more like an action RPG. Action RPGs have different paces.

I'm liking the road trip aspect of the game. It's very different from...basically every other RPG out there. And it's a main FF too which makes it even weirder, but also cool.

I'm not really liking how slow and weighty the combat is though. Hopefully it feels good when playing, and more sped up as you play.

Nomura was passionate about the whole project from the start, it is just strange for him not to finish it.

Last time, Many people compared it to DMC ( sigh ), the battle was so fast it looked more of a hack & slash than an action RPG. The road trip thing is just a chapter after the main cast escape their homeland due to war, I thinks it is nice too. As for the combat, I think it just need some more polish, it seems satisfying for me.
