So for the e-mail account you are estimating U$50,00 worth for each account if 100% gone and done a acc (let's pretend none were customer and all would become), do you think each account have that much value even with ad revenue?

On the Office buying because liked Minecraft?? That would be quite the leap, but at least you put some plan on recovering the investiment =]

easily within 2 years. Its not about the email account alone but with all the connected stuff around it like skydrive, bing etc. People don't realise how much money a google/ms/apple/facebook makes from your account info.. Dataselling is like 14 cents per email adress per interest.. Say a travel company wants a list from google with people interested in travel to germany. Google can easily cough up 100.000 email adresses.. With people while logged in search for germany or watching some youtube videos.. Want a name with it? You can have it for 8 cents extra.. Want only people between 18 and 30? Pay 4 cents extra.. Only californians? Pay an extra 4 cents.

Well not sure if the math adds up and how much would be new users, but sure enough it is one of the sources to revenue on it... MS won't ever release if the buying was lucrative or not, but certainly they will make a lot of use on the buying to get their money worth. Just let watch for the less obvious use MS will do =]
