Yeah, he likes to wait until they've almost landed from being knocked off the platform, then F.L.U.D.D. their sorry asses down into a bottomless pit of doom.

Or literally kick them when they're down with his dash attack. Maybe the reason they were down in the first place is because of his forward-air meteor punch.

I prefer the cape for edge-guarding myself.
