Besides, this isn't really news. Forbes had Sony posted for a loss for 2014 since early 2013. And them climbing back to even in 2015 and huge profits in 2016-beyond.

Everything is going exactly how everyone already knew it would go.

Kaz Hirai isn't in charge of Playstation anymore. He's been the President and CEO of Sony since 2012. 

Of course this is big news. Sony had earlier predicted a loss of just $466m and now its become $2bn. That is a gigantic loss.
