I NEVER NEVER saw anyone claiming victory for Playstation due to Destiny, and yes there were people who were expecting it to obviously sell some consoles due to the bundle, but saying that Destiny was gonna make the Playstation victorious is ridiculous, especially given the fact that unlike Titanfall that is an "exclusive" Destiny is a Multiplatform game that is ALSO on the xbox...
and NO, Playstation fans were not the only ones giving Destiny some Hype, Heck im a Playstation fan and i was ZERO hyped for this game i thought it didnt look like what the Devs were promising and i ended up being right. at least the reviews tell me that yes this wasnt the game people were expecting.
