Bolded was to point out that what feels better to you, doesn't translate to everyone. And again, the tradeoff is opinion, interface has always been about opinion. Some prefer controller, some prefer mouse and keyboard. Mouse/Keyboard would still mop the floor against DS for accuracy. Still hoping they can make the responsiveness better on controller as time goes on. I would argue shooting is as important as driving in GTA, as there are main story missions you absolutely cannot get through without shooting, which require no driving at all (you could potentially just run to every location, also). Aim assist is a crutch, nothing more, nothing less. As far as the beta test thing, don't care, not commenting on it, and never mentioned it at all. |
Same goes for driving. Actually, without driving, every GTA game would have been a pain to play, let alone complete. You can atleast use melee weapons instead of guns in early missions usually, but there is just no substitute for driving in a GTA game IMO. Of course its all subjective, and your prefernces are obviously diferent from mine.
Besides aim assist is fully functional, and sometimes makes the game seem easier and more fun. I'd rather have it that way.
