I miss 7th Gen

By the end of the 7th Gen people were comfortable with owning aps3 they're want as much hate. You don't have to be dominant to be comfortable 

Still doesn't change the fact that the PS fans went through hell for the first 3-4yrs of the 7th gen. The gen is still young, maybe by the end of this gen too every platform will be respected on its own merits.

Besides, the wars are always most heated at this point in the generation.
