I don't know why people need to make post just to bash a game that's on a console they don't own.

It was clear from the get go it's NOT a system seller. People love to make erroneous assumptions about this and most of these people seem to be the ones that are A) not interested in the game B) Pissed for some reason or another that it's exclusive to the Wii U or C) Were told that the game was going to be a system seller by extreme fanboys.

I believe it will tip close to 1 million for a few reasons.
1) Value - two games for the price of one. Mario Kart claimed victory on this and likely at this point has a near 50% console attach rate. A majority of this was likely because of the club Nintendo promotion and it's own legacy.
2) Exclusivity - It's only coming to the Wii U, It includes Bayonetta 1.
3) The Wii U audience - It's not kids, instead it's mostly teens and young adults. This demographic eats these types of games for breakfast and dinner.

If this version sells more than the PS3 version at less people when the PS3 was out then I'll be quite surprised. This type of game wont even sell well on the PS4 or Xbox One. the PS3, 360 numbers just further reinforce that. A lot of Wii U gamers are core-gamers and they love exclusives so I guess what I'm trying to say. Hold off and see how this game does in it's first day.

I only own a Wii U, and honestly he's just being realistic. If Bayonetta 2 sells 500,000 I will be suprised. It's not about how good the game is, look at the sales of other games on the system, and this has a narrower appeal.
