None of them lived up to their hype. Though Titanfall came the closest.

I swear this isn't persecution =~]

But on sales point WD have done better and Destiny have done waaaay better... on critics side TF is ahead, but since the article was talking also about no one talking about TF anymore and game sessions being more empty I think we still have to wait to see if Destiny will be a blunder, strong sales but dying fast. 1 week have passed so far, let's see in like 3 months how buzz it still have, or if CoD will kill it outright.

My point was more about critics.

But its a sales site, so your argument is fair enough. I think you touch on the difficulty though. At least Titanfall released to some breathing room. Destiny has two months before Cod and MCC (not to mention myriad other games on both consoles) release and crush its fledgling online community.

Well on a critics point TF wasn't overhyped just a little underdelivering (86 isn't a bad meta) so maybe this is way the OP decided to talk about the small buzz. And TF sould terrific for a new IP in a 4M+- base when launched... and having a good meta it have a good chance for a sequel. The other two may have less chance of sequel even with good sales because of lower grades and more exposition to all fanbases already.

And I hope Bungie have luck on those "the game just start after 20h" because those 10M (not sure how much they will sell until there, but I think this is possible) customers will have just 2 months before they get on other games and never look back.
