Perfectly understood the OP and my point is exactly about it. Buying Minecraft is not only about the game... I'm not going to explain it again if you cannot comprehend why. So asking for a AAA game vs Minecraft is just pointless as you need to take into consideration other factor such as the brand value which is in that case WAY more than the game itself.

And if you understood OP question how have you come to the conclusion he wasn't asking as gamer would you choose 20 AAA or Minecraft but instead gone for the brand which would be a defense on corporate not gamer standpoint?

Also I have asked people that were defending this maneuver to give a bussiness plan and a ROI, since they think this was a really good move I would like to see them sort out that in numbers and strategy not just say "MS made a great movie having this franchise will look everyone in MS system"... can you make it?

I'm no more expert than you but please stop pretending you have a clue of what you are talking about here :) Using buzzword (strategy, ROI, wtc...) will not make you more credible and I'm pretty sure thise guys and business men at MS know what they are doing.

And I just wanted anyone that thinks this is a really great move to show how they think MS is able to turn profit on this buying... not just say that because MS made it them it must be good, this is what you are doing, but you don't seem to really accept it.

And the difference between us both is that I hape no problem accepting that I usually don't put MS in a good spotlight, but you are trying your hardest to say that being a MS supporter have no influence in your answering.

EDIT: And on the very wise guys at MS, they were the ones that made the reveal a complete blunder, DRM and PR nightmare... they had to fire a really wise Mattrick, put a gag on Major Nelson and now rellying on Phill Spencer that even being a lot better still make some terrible spins. But I'm sure this time they done 100% right and there wasn't any other best move on using 2,5B because that is the one they choose.
