I've always found those complaints ridiculous, because the title of the article made clear what it's about and thus there was no reason for them to click the article if they weren't interested. But you're right, this really is a different situation for the reason you've pointed out. I still don't think these threads should be banned, but now I better understand why they can be annoying. |
Well, maybe instead of banning those threads, the OP should be forced to write that they are using Amazon hourly for their argument. Still seems to clutter up the board, though.

That is a good point, actually. That's one of those situations where the weekly sales would still be more appropriate and accurate to gauge if average consumers are actually responding positively to a product, or if its just a few fans of the brand/console purchasing it within an hour or so of each other.
