Microsoft buying Minecraft for $2.5B has to be the biggest gaming news of 2014!

Interestingly, some news (including that reported here on VGChartz) says that Microsoft expects to break even on the deal by June 2015! That is plain ole crazy.

If they really said that then they're pulling it out of their asses :p Including merchandise Minecraft has likely made about $750m to $850m since its release. I'd love to know how they plan on making that 3 times over in a few months
