Well, I have completed my first week of the game. I am loving it and the PS4. I asked my free company leader about what class to go. She said scholar if I wanted to heal instead of be an archer. I was intimated by thinking of controlling the pet and leaned heavily towards white mage, but then I was informed I'd never go OOM as a scholar. I decided I'd go for it.
I hit 15 conjurer, then so far managed to level Arcanist to 17 or so. I absolutely love the pet! I have not made macros for it, but instead put it on my hotbars for the keyboard, which is working well. Of course, as a DPS from WoW I knew what to expect with long Duty Finder queue and was plenty enterained chasing FATEs and quests. My first run was smooth, and my Topaz Carbuncle makes a fine off tank for now. It is also veyr awesome and fun to help the main healer when the tank is hurting badly. Main healer didn't seem to notice my pet health, so I had to heal it on my own, but the tank was thankful for it peeling aggro and off tanking some stuff. :)
I should be Scholar by this weekend I'd think. I'm looking forward to seeing how hard it is to manage Eso as backup heals. I love the fact also that I pretty much never go OOM, just like I was told. As I continue, I wonder why Microsoft said know to this game? It is the reason I bought PS4 and loving it.
