But, if i am honest, Scotland might have more to lose from independance than to gain. But if its something they want in their hearts, they should have it. Personally, i am a forward thinker. I see the whole of EU uniting as a single country in the future. It will be necessary to rival with the great powers of the world. So, i wonder if this will make a big difference down the line anyways. |
Firstly, there's nothing forward about that thought. Europe is being fed to the dogs because of the EU. I urge you to do substantial research into the matter. The bail-outs, centralization of power and open-borders-policy are absolutely killing the members of the EU (sans Germany).
Luckily, many of the countries are wisening up. You should see France/Greece leave the EU first, closely followed by several others. It'll happen in a few years. The socialist wellfare system that has been plaguing the once-mighty European nations has been utterly exposed.
The EU is an abomination.
