For GTA V you should really go with the PS4 version as the PC version doesn't release until next year.

I might consider that, thanks! Though really, most of the games I buy this year probably won't be played till next year due to my colossal backlog.

You should forget about your backlog for GTA V. I mean, GTA V is amazing. You won't be able to play any other open-world game after playing it.
