Maybe not but probably over exaggerated. Nowadays "I don't like you" counts as bullying and "I hate you" counts as death threat.
I mean really? Someone on the internet says something and you have to leave your house for that?
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
