MS has 96 billion USD in cash in Europe to avoid high taxes in the US. That's where the money comes from. This is not even "Xbox budget".
This is.more of a mobile thing than Xbox. still a very creative developer and a powerful IP is never a bad thing to own.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
