I doubt MS will pull Minecraft from their competitors since they are in it for the money. The last thing MS would want is another PR backlash from the gamers.
Besides they didn't do it with Skype, so they won't do it with this game. They will push the IP and use it to generate more profit like selling merchandise for example and keeping it on every platform available will generate more cash flow in their direction.
