Why? They are buying it to help their mobile division, not Xbox. 

Because it doesn't matter what division they are buying it for, it is a massive waste of money.  This money could be used to buy Capcom and pump out Monster Hunter, RE, and Deepdown on Xbox AND mobile if they wanted to.  Instead they are throwing money in a fire pit that will likely not see a return for a decade, and if it takes a decade to make a profit off of this much money, did they really profit?
