There was already a thread on here, 20 AAA games or mincraft http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=190037&page=1# of course I commented that I would have thought that the cash would be better spent on 20 AAA games instead of minecraft. For me it's not about naming something else they can buy, still Capcom has been mentioned, currently has a market cap $1.09billion. Instead of splashing all that cash on minecraft I do think that a better investment would be for MS to create something themselves, like new IP's, invest more in there own studios. I think that in the long run MS would have found this a better investment than minecraft, I think gamers would have. Sure MS can buy minecraft, it's money found down the back of the sofa for them, but it's still a waste of $2.5billion imo.
