Why is the American government/ Empire so keen on war all the time?

The United State still hast wice as much GDP as second place China.

All but three countries are in debt. National debts are simply political tools for politicians to gain campaign support.

Brunei, Liechtenstein, and Palau are the only sovereign states with no debt. They're not exactly economic juggernauts.
