That's definitely not true that games don't live up to their "insane hype". The Last Of Us, GTA V, and Uncharted 2 are recent examples. Games don't always live up to their hype, but then, if the gamers disagree, the reviews are, mostly, pointless.

I don't get all the negativity towards this game, but then, everyone is not me.

i dont think its negativity but more as a weird mind of state of a overhyped game "needs" to be a 90+ which both TF and Destiny failed to do. Unfortunately thats how it is despite 75-85 on meta is considered a good game.

But thats just me.
