So final week of July according to VGC got 32K sales. Which means "almost double" is probably something like a 20-30K boost for Xb one hardware. Not bad all things considered. Return on investment? Hard to tell at this point, we'll have to see what sort of hardware boost PS4 got.

If VGC first 3 weeks of Aug are right then that's 144K and then ~46K for the final week to get to 190K. Which is actually a drop from the 3rd week in July which was 52K on Diablo III + PvZ:GW launch, but on par with the general weekly trend. This means the exclusive bundle for Xb one did have a pretty good one week pay off, if indeed PS4 fell WoW for the week. I'm more inclined the think that PS4 was at least flat week on week, and that probably the first 3 weeks are slightly over tracked and D3+PvZ didn't give all that much of a boost to PS4. You don't get a substantial game like Madden releasing without somewhat of a boost, or hold from a previous week boost, this early in the generation when people are basing their buying decisions on when certain games come out. Later in the generation games like Madden shouldn't really do much for hardware
