I can't really agree with this and arguments using Arkham Knight, Quantum Break and The Witcher 3 are premature because they could easily be overhyped as well. Nobody thought Destiny was going to sit on a 74 on metacritic and disappoint a lot of people two weeks back but here we are now. There is no sure fact that The Witcher, Quantum Break and Arkham Knight are going to deliver either. I think they just made a disappointing game because of bad ideas and execution, not limitations.
GRAW released on 360 as well as ps2 and the original xbox and although the then last gen versions of the game were poor, the 360 version was superb and they really took advantage of the new hardware. In comparison to GRAW it almosts feels like Destiny was a game already well into development before they knew the ps4 and xbox one were coming and they simply took advantage of the next gen hype and ported what they were working on from last gen to take advantage.
