Microsoft is killing the Nokia and Windows Phone brands

Part of me is torn apart by this decision, the rational part isn't.

I'm not surprised by the fact that they're moving away from the Windows Phone branding, considering the fact that a lot of people mistakenly refer to the OS as "Windows 8.1," rather than "Windows Phone 8.1."
