Now this is a more realistic prediction. People who think this will be a 5 year gen are in for a surprise. Also, i dont think Microsoft will rush a new gen, their efforts atm seem to be towards quickly rescuing the X1 with their wallet(tomb raider, majong). If that doesnt work, i really dont see them sinking more money in a new system. They will probably sell off or close the division.
Nintendo also wont rush into anything now that they are making the first strides into HD gaming.
