Giving up on the seemingly frozen Lt. Tear who wouldn't respond to his question, and hearing a great commotion in the war room, Max ran over to see a confrontation between Simon and the other teammates. Afraid that things would get violent if he didn't act soon, Max quickly spoke up.
"Stop! Don't you see he's one of us? He's our stealth guy, he was only in the vents to investigate the explosions from earlier. You guys seriously need to stop with the whole shoot first, ask questions later attitude."
