There you have your reason for it skipping Nintendo platforms. Nintendo gamers dont like to support bullshit business models and capcom knew it.
TBH I dont understand Capcom seriously "Hey you know all people are pretty angry about how we fucked up ResidentEvil. The only good one for ages was Revelations. So lets make another Revelations and fuck up that one too!"
