Well they did kind of have some PR disasters with the initial reveal. The 360 also had no real competition when it released, as it was a year before the Wii and PS3.


Aye, true; and, on a slightly more cynical note, it's probably preferable in this case, given the uphill fight, to avoid shipping too many units, and ending up with big, imposing stacks of unsold Xbox Ones all over the place, so a bit of lowballing might be in order. o.o Does make me wonder how it's faring in the other regions, though.
