It only take about 10-15 minutes before it's up to the highest stage of fan speed and it doesn't let off the entire movie. That totally negates that arguement vs the PS3 imho. Now if we're talking about gaming the DVD drive on my X360 is a turbine and much louder then the PS3 even on full fan speed. |
This is one of the advantages of the 40gb PS3 without the extra BC hardware, it runs cooler and quieter. The only time I heard the fan speed up so far was when I was playing Uncharted for a few hours and even then only for a short time.
