I was looking at the known characters list recently and there's so many characters I want to get good with:
Peach: Obviously. The Japan demo impression say although she has the same moves she feels a lot different. She was my main in Brawl and I definitely want to main her again. I'm a bit apprehensive about how she'll play on the 3DS without a C-Stick also her turnip pulls are supposedly much slower but I'm sure I'll manage.
Bowser: I picked up Bowser in Melee but quickly realized he sucked bad! Then in Brawl, he was one of my "just for fun" characters I played in friendly matches. Now with his new mechanics he looks like he could be a really good fighter and I hope to incorporate him into my main fighters.
Mega Man: He looks way too awesome for me not to try my best at maining him.
Robin: Very intriguing character with a mix of magic attacks and swordplay.
Rosalina & Luma: I love the double character dynamic and she looked pretty darn good at E3 and other shows where Smash was presented.
Shulk: Mainly to play as him in his underwear, just kidding, he looks quite unique and a ton of fun.
Wii Fit Trainer: Fast, quirky, original, fun
Zero Suit Samus: I could never remember how to make Samus shed her armor at the beginning of a fight so I never really played ZSS much in Brawl. Now that she's her own character I think I'll be choosing her quite often.
