It seems pretty clear to me that part of the agreement Sony has with Activision and WB include publishing the game in Japan themselves, maybe because Sony wants it that way but most probably because the publishers don't deem it worth it doing it themselves for such a small market and are comfortable with Sony handling things.
Since Sony publishes, it follows that the games stay exclusive to PS platforms. |
So, Activision and WB think the Japanease market is not worth the effort they have to sell the publish rights to a third party?

Yup. Localization and distribution in Japan are not worth whatever sales the Xbox One version of those games would give them.

So, the costs to change the button prompts from X to A are overwelming, or they have to translante again and re-dub the XOne version ???... because you can´t do more than that with localization.
