You have to know how to read Edge scores, because their scoring is different to other media outlets.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption got a 7 from Edge, while in reality it should be a 10 (if we are going by full points). So Mario Kart's 6 translates actually to a 9. It's simple as that.

But seriously, why bother with Edge scores. Their ratings have often been way off, regardless of platform.
