Metroid Prime 3: Corruption got a 7 from Edge, while in reality it should be a 10 (if we are going by full points). So Mario Kart's 6 translates actually to a 9. It's simple as that.

But seriously, why bother with Edge scores. Their ratings have often been way off, regardless of platform.

Why bother with review scores in the first place? They never match personal preference anyway.

You have a point there. But never say never. Sometimes reviews match personal preference.

Fair enough.  Reviews match the personal preference of the person writing them.
