Thanks for the feedback. Looks like a lot of people would miss the platinum leaderboard if it were to go.
Since posting those proposed changes I've developed a web scraping script that will automatically collect everyone's trophy values. I've also chopped about 30 inactive people from the league. This will save me a tremendous amount of time each week. Therefore, I'll keep the platinum leaderboard going for now. With use of the script, I'm hoping that each update will take less than an hour to do (ideally 30 minutes).
