Played Destiny for about 5 hours straight.... barely touched PvP so cant comment (except I love it in the Beta, so what could go wrong, right?)
The game is fun solo, and even if you want to play solo it is worth getting. However, the game is ridiculously fun with 1 or 2 other people. I have been taking my time (only did moon mission 1). When I get my brother on tomorrow I am have no doupt it will be a memorable experience.
Only ways you wont like the game.
1. You expect it to feel as epic as Skyrim
2. You thinks its an MMO in the same vein as WoW
I have put around 5 hours into the story and am still only 1/4 through, to put that into perspective that as much time as I spent in COD: WaW, MW2 and MW3 campaign combined.
The only people you will see hating on the game (have a legit comment is not what I am referring to) is XB1 fanboys who want the game to suck so Halo can be king again now that CoD is slipping noticeably.
