That's true but he said that it did nothing to boost sales which is not true. The X1 would be selling pretty badly right now if there wasn't a price cut. 

Yes... we can't be sure how much it really boosted sales for X1 or how bad it would be without it... but yes, seeing how most of the sales nowadays is kinectless then I believe it really helped... now in need of great exclusives to make more effect.
