I would agree, but I also would have to agree Sony's old slogan for PS2, "Live in your world, play in ours." Much better. It gave the feeling that the PS2 was a fun console to play. Now the PS3 ones make you question what is up with the system being all mature and 'graphic.' Those pictures don't show anything video game-related. They could be screenshots, but what game are they advertising (for the general consumer)? Is it fun and does it appeal to everyone? I don't think so. It would probably appeal to someone who has a dark and morbid mind. And no, the giant black octopus commercials suck too. I don't even understand them. Sure they show the features and all, but they're not interesting. It just seem someone made a collage to show off the PS3 without showing any qualities of it being fun with people. |
Depends on what you would call fun. If the games aren't what you think are fun, it doesn't mean it won't be fun to someone else. And it's impossible to appeal to everyone. Even with the Wii. It's just not possible to make a game fun for EVERYONE. I guarentee at least one person will dislike a game. I mean, look at all the old people that are just anti-videogame just because they're videogames. There is no universal rating system on how fun a game is since people can have different opinions. You can have reviews, but in the end it comes down to ones individual taste as to how fun the game is. It won't be fun to everyone...and even if a game seems like it would be the least fun ever (coughHanahMontanacough) there will probably be a handful of people that like it. I seriously doubt any developer(s) could make a game that appeals to EVERYBODY.
