Video game budget has gone too high to buy real exclusivity for this gen on AAA games. It was already uncommon last gen, compared to ps2 for example.

Games needs to be multiplat' to justify their budget. Just look at the last Tomb Raider, it needed 6 millions sales to make benefits. How many games can even pull half that that while being third party eclusives ?

It's a VN. They're often cheap to develop, and if they make losses, they'll just pull together an anime adaptation and cash in on that.
