I think the 360 is great, and people should want it. XBL is unrivaled. Achievements and the current lineup of games (especially RPG's) cannot be beat.

BUT IMO when compared directly to the PS3, it is just not on par.
There is nothing wrong with owning both systems, but if you have to choose between the two, then it is hard not to look towards the future... and buy a PS3.

Man if I didn't already have one, I would be all over the MGS4 bundle.. so sweet.

what future???? if it's game quality, there is no insight for now that devs are willing to spend the time and money on making games that really uses what the PS 3 has to offer.... BR ok that format is still far from taking over DVD.... and by the time it does if it does.... you'll have other better quality stand alone players for way cheaper as it is the case already now on ebay anyway... and on top of that the genration will probably be over.... your way of thinking is true when it comes to built a PC.... I don't see it when it comes to buy a console... you buy a console for the games it has to offer now and the near future plus now the services it has to offer.. if you look at that... beside a couple games that appeal to some people PS 3 has not much more to offer than 360 that justify the investement....

I guess i was referring more towards the 2008 Sony exclusive games lineup.. that future.

You are right aboput the devs being able to learn or not learn how to use the PS3 to its fullest power. But that is a discussion for another day. One which I think we may agree upon..

You are right, as of now the PS3 and 360 are comparable in terms of games.

But the PS3 and Blu-Ray is an advantage IMO. the ability of software updates and Blu-Ray profile 2.0 still places the quality of the blu-ray player at the head of the pack, and for a great price when compared to other similar featured BD players.

Yes eventually there will be better BD players out there, for cheaper, but there arent now.

But we both have our opinions, I respect yours.

ok yeap good exclusives, and hopefully using really what the PS 3 can offer.... you know I hate Sony and MS pisses me of for many thing... but if PS 3 when I bought my XB 360 in early 2006 had any insight letting me know that it will have the game I want of amazingly better quality and with the live experience I had on XB and what I had seen at my friends... I would have bought the best console... what ever the brand is.... I jumped into XB the first one because it was the most powerfull with the games I wanted... especially the remakes or sequels of DreamCast games

now the PS 3 still doesn't have more insight in terms of game library and services that XB 360 has even with those excellent looking exclusive I admit..... i mean the past library of games i didn't play yet i might pick up as rentals or second hand....and what's coming especially new IPs..... i don't see why i should pick up a PS 3 even for the future...

what i know about MS in videogaming (and that's since PC MSGS product) they work hard to provide good new IPs... and a good library of games.... on PS3 they have old IPs they reuse i'm tired of that I want something new and XB provides me that so far and i'm confident on the future... PS3 beside old proven IPs and couple unproven new ones (and they didn't provide everytime they created a hype around a game) they don't have much IMO to convince me i'll have more satisfaction in term of gaming than my XB

See what I mean ???

MS in PC did really good and relativelly innovative games back then... and now on console they are doing a good job at providing a good library... and I don't think they'll stop anytime soon to try to get new exclusive, contract with devs and publishers... etc... they proved being the best in that category and that's what make me prefer the XB future than the PS 3..... I mean MS is one of the best PUBLISHER out there
