To insult someone's reading comprehension over a simple misunderstanding is kind of rude (in my opinion)
I don't believe they were trying to twist your words or trying to make you look bad. When people read "I saw one mention of it so far" they're going to think you're talking about the thread as a whole up till your post, if you said something like "I saw one mention of it so far but I'm only on page one" I think this could have been avoided.
Either way this is getting off-topic and it's not a serious issue to even begin with, so let's end it here.
