It seems to say why bother with the why, too hard to understand, too much work to get yourself informed, no final answers anyway, just go with God and have time for more important stuff. And why not, stay connected with your neighborhood by going to church and participate in charity events, instead of spending your time learning the more intricate details of genetic switches and the current research into RNA formation.

It isn't really like that, though. Lots of people in every religion clearly don't do it because It's easier to not think about anything.

Science: We have lots of theories, we invite you to think about them and participate in the understanding of the world around us.
Religion: We have all the answers, we'll tell you how to live and get a big reward afterwards.
