What About A Nintendo + Microsoft Alliance

I don't think Disney or Apple would give Nintendo the same amount of control though. 

MS at their heart is really just an OS/services company, as such I don't think they really would be opposed to let someone else carry the load in the game hardware business ... so long as they get benefit out of it and get to stay involved in the business. 

Disney would probably eventually want control of Nintendo's characters property ... that also doesn't work for Nintendo. 

Can you imagine Apple listening to Nintendo on hardware decisions? Nope. MS doesn't really give a crap, they already work with other hardware vendors all the time (Nokia, many PC manufacturers obviously, etc.) so it would be just another day at the office for them. 

Disney and Apple are probably control freaks but so is Nintendo.
