Excellent write up.

But I think there should be another category: Momentum.

And right now, Sony has it.

They've turned a profit in their game division, finally [though it was off the backs of the PSP/2], and they've kept the pricing the same, and look to keep it that way for some time, keeping them profitable. With them having, arguably, the biggest game of this summer, it looks like they'll have a good summer with MGS4, completely unrivaled in hype and delivery [as previews are saying], and the YOY growth for the system is amazing. And we all know momentum is very important. Look at the 360, it's slowing down, and almost grinding to a halt. The lowest selling console every week, beaten even by PSP.
I agree, momentum is something that should be looked at.  I think I'll put that in there.  That said, I think some of the conclusions you have drawn regarding momentum are a little off.

Yeah, i know.

I was just writing fast, trying to get a point across.  I'm kinda busy.
