Once again, I feel like motion control was just one aspect of the marketing genius Nintendo launched the Wii with. They could have gone 1-to-1 motion control, but then that would have debunked their "easy-to-access" claim. Also, the price was a key point in attracting casual gamers to the console over its HD rivals.
