This is another disadvantage the WiiU has, especially if you happened to be interested in digital purchases. You need an external storage to go along with it, which means at least another 50 dollars/euro one has to invest in the system. They need to make the system cheaper, but even better would be to have a version with enough space on it.


With mandatory installs on the other two current gen systems this issue isn't limited to just the Wii U.  Anyone with a serious digital library is going to need additional storage on any of the three systems.  At least they don't pull an xbox 360 and charge $120 for a 320 gig drive. Even sony made it easy, as long as your drive was the right dimensions you could use about any drive.
