What have the lifetime sales of games that released in 2008 and 2006 got to do with the last few years of the 7th gen?

They clearly did drop off quite considerably, you even showed that yourself. The 2006 Zelda game managed almost double the 2011 Zelda. 4 million and 2 million aren't very much compared to PS3 and Xbox 360 games that would sell 10 million+ every year.

Like all theese great ps3 games http://www.vgchartz.com/platform/3/playstation-3/

Or like all theese great 360 games who toped the charts http://www.vgchartz.com/platform/7/xbox-360/

Fact is, that each has at most 2 games unike to them who toped list. Everithing else was a multyplat, that was not on wii because it did not look preety. Is that what a hardcore console is to you, A box with preetier images? If that where true, then forget current gen and lets all just play on pc.

We were arguing about how Wii game sales dropped off in the later years to try and proove the amount of hardcore gamers on the Wii. How does lifetime sales have anything to do with that? The sales did drop off, games in the last few years of last gen on Wii sold significantly less than games from the early years did. Yeah alot of PS3 and Xbox 360s game sales were multiplat, but a lot of the big selling ones like COD WERE on Wii as well.

LIke I kept saying, they looked better and played the same so of course it will sell better on hd consoles. But since I only have the 360 page looking at right now, how many of those late console releases toped the chartz? Call of duty wich is always up there on xbox, halo 4 and GTA5. Those are the only late gen games to even come close to the numbers you sugested. So did 360 also sold a lot worst in late gen?

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.
