That's the basic Wii U model, the premium is 41k which amounts to around £50 difference between the U and X1 for the Japanese.

amazon puts wii u BASIC at 26k yen. the wii fit bundle is 31k yen. there is no model higher than the 31-33k range that I know of.


Anyone thinking the problem of X1 not selling in Japan is price (and comparing it to WiiU) is crazy... the console could cost 50 yen and each game just 10 yen and even so they wouldn't make buttloads.
